Written by a middle aged woman. So it's got a take on life from that viewpoint - the view from someone born in the 50s, brought up in the 60s and 70s, bringing up my own in the 80s and 90s and now enjoying life from a different place.
So much of contemporary life is about and for younger people, the 40 and 50 somethings are invisible. Particularly the women, the last vestige of sexism prevails in our generation while men of our age had and have it all.
